How the Ambassador program works
The Ambassador program of NOVARA flair rewards the people in our community who recommend what we make. As an ambassador you get a personal code, YOURCODE, and a personal link: https://inboundflair.com/r/yourcode/. Your code gives your community 5% off.
How a sale is credited to you
- When a buyer uses your code at checkout, the sale is always credited to you, on any device.
- When a buyer opens your link, or a link made with the link builder in your dashboard, we remember it for 30 days, and your code is added to their cart. If they buy within that time, the sale is credited to you. These links can lead to any page of the store.
- If the store gives you a profile page, a column or stories, they credit you only through the links they carry to the store: a product, the shop, a category or a tag. Those links carry your code on their own. Opening your page, your column or a story does not credit you, and neither does a link to anything else we publish, such as articles, landing pages or the menu of the store.
- If a buyer opened links from more than one ambassador, the most recent one counts (last click; an ambassador code always wins).
- To be credited, share your link, your code or the links of your profile, column and stories as they are. A sale is not credited if the code was removed from the link, if the link was sent through a service that changes it, or if the link or code was placed on pages that are not yours.
- Your own purchases don’t earn commission.
What you earn
- New customers (no paid order in the last 3 months): 10%.
- Returning customers: 5%.
- Commission is calculated on what the customer actually paid for the products: after every discount (including your code’s, when it gives one), without shipping or taxes, and minus anything returned. Not included: none.
- If rates change, the new rates only apply to sales made after the change.
When a commission is confirmed
Every referral starts as pending. Customers can return items within 7 days, so your commission becomes available 10 days after the order is completed (the return window plus a few days for late return notices), if nothing was returned. A partial refund reduces the commission in proportion, and a cancelled or fully refunded order earns nothing. You can see every referral, its status, and the reason for any change in your ambassador dashboard.
Campaigns
From time to time we run ambassador campaigns that change your code’s discount for a set period. They’re announced in your dashboard before they start.
